NurSpend — Privacy Policy

NurSpend is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains how your data is handled.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone)
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No advertising identifiers
• No device identifiers sent to servers
• No crash reports or diagnostics

Data Stored Locally

All of your financial data — expenses, budgets, goals, bills, settings — is stored exclusively on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly initiate a backup.

Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you choose to back up to Nextcloud, Google Drive, or iCloud, your data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving your device. The encryption key is stored in your device's secure keychain. We cannot decrypt your backups.

Third-Party Services

• Exchange Rate API — We fetch currency rates from exchangerate-api.com. Only your base currency code is sent. No personal data is included.
• Google Sign-In — If you use Google Drive backup, Google Sign-In handles authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to this interaction.

Biometric Lock

If enabled, Face ID / fingerprint data is handled entirely by your device's biometric system. We never store biometric data.

Children's Privacy

NurSpend does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be noted in the app's changelog.
